TrueNoord, a specialist regional aircraft lessor, has taken delivery of its fourth Embraer E195-E2 jet at the São José dos Campos facility in Brazil. The next-generation aircraft is part of a six-aircraft deal that will be leased to Canadian operator Porter Airlines. TrueNoord expects to receive the fifth and sixth aircraft later in 2023. Embraer has been a crucial strategic partner to TrueNoord for several years, and this latest transaction solidifies the entire Embraer E-Jet family’s position as a cornerstone of their portfolio of modern regional aircraft. TrueNoord values the ongoing support of Embraer’s professional team and anticipates further positive collaboration as their business and fleet continue to grow.
With this recent addition, Embraer aircraft now represent 60% of TrueNoord’s global fleet, making Embraer a key partner for the lessor. To commemorate this milestone, Anne-Bart Tieleman and the TrueNoord leadership team joined Embraer’s executives in Brazil to celebrate the delivery of their latest next-generation E195-E2 jet. Porter Airlines, the Canadian operator set to receive TrueNoord’s E195-E2s, is known for providing premium service to regional and international destinations. The addition of the advanced E2 jets to their fleet will enable Porter Airlines to enhance its operations and deliver a superior travel experience to its passengers.
