GA Telesis, LLC, in collaboration with Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG), has announced a significant milestone for their joint venture, the Specialized Procedures Aeroengine Hospital (SPAH), located at the Wilmington Air Park in Ohio. The venture has successfully obtained an Air Agency Certificate from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), marking a significant step forward in their efforts to provide rapid jet engine maintenance services to the airline industry.
The certification enables SPAH to offer dual-release return to service documentation for its customers, allowing the use of parts and engines not only in the United States but also in the European Union and countries with bilateral agreements with the FAA and EASA. This capability enhances performance reliability and expands the global reach of their services.
