Following a mild Northeast winter, construction has entered its final phase. The superstructure and concrete pours for all three hangars are complete. The FBO building’s construction continues, with the framed-in glass lobby serving as a visible progress marker. The taxiway to access Connecticut’s longest business aviation runway is finished, and the remaining ramp and parking facilities are expected to be completed soon.
Clay Lacy Aviation’s latest Fixed-Based Operation (FBO) and hangar complex at Waterbury-Oxford Airport (KOXC) is nearing completion and is set to open in the summer of 2024. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 120,000 square feet of new hangars, is designed to meet the growing demand for hangar space in the New York and greater Northeast regions, while offering the benefits of basing aircraft in Connecticut.
