Lufthansa Technik has signed an agreement with Eurowings Technik, the technical operations department of Eurowings, to provide comprehensive base maintenance support for Eurowings’ Airbus A320 family fleet. The agreement will see two exclusive maintenance lines at Lufthansa Technik Budapest and two additional lines at Lufthansa Technik Sofia dedicated to performing various letter checks on approximately 40 Eurowings aircraft during the winter seasons over the coming years.
Matthias Gruber, Head of Technical Fleet Management Eurowings and Managing Director, Eurowings Technik said, “Based on our long-standing cooperation, we are delighted about the new base maintenance contract with Lufthansa Technik, which will enable us to continue to guarantee the high-quality standards in the technical reliability of our aircraft. It also gives us the flexibility we need to get our fleet ready for the summer during the winter season.”
