KlasJet adds solo Boeing 737-800 NG jet to upgrade ACMI capacity

KlasJet, a prominent charter company within the Avia Solutions Group—the world’s largest ACMI provider—recently announced the addition of a new Boeing 737-800 NG to its fleet. This acquisition increases the total number of jets dedicated to ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) operations to seven. The new aircraft, registered as LY-SLX, seats 186 passengers and is set to begin operations in mid-May, gearing up for a bustling summer season.

KlasJet currently operates a mixed fleet of 14 aircraft, providing both VIP full charter flights and ACMI services. Its VIP service fleet offers configurations ranging from 10 to 68 seats, while its ACMI services accommodate either 186 or 189 passengers per flight. This strategic expansion is a response to the increasing demand for leased aircraft operations, which provide flexibility and cost-efficiency to airlines needing additional capacity.
