3 April 2020: Meggitt has signed a three-year contract with Japan Airlines (JAL) to supply maintenance and repair services on engine components for the Boeing 737, 767 and 777. All repair services will be carried out at Meggitt's newly expanded Asian centre of excellence at Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore.
Stewart Watson, President of Meggitt's Services & Support division in Asia Pacific said, "This is an exciting time for JAL, with the recent launch of their low cost airline that promises to provide an affordable gateway to Asia, Europe and the Americas. We look forward to supporting Japan Airlines as they grow their global passenger numbers, providing the world class levels of service that have cemented our relationship and will continue to do so."
