Honeywell has been selected by Emirates to provide wheels and carbon brakes for its extensive fleet of 116 Airbus A380 aircraft. The 10-year agreement encompasses the supply of advanced wheel and brake designs by Honeywell, aiming to reduce weight, lower maintenance costs, and extend the overall life of the braking system.
Under the terms of the agreement, maintenance of the wheels and brakes will be conducted through Emirates maintenance shops, ensuring that the airline receives continuous and localized support in Dubai.
