FlyArystan, Air Astana Joint Stock Company’s low-cost carrier brand, has been granted its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK). Air Astana Joint Stock Company is the largest airline group in Central Asia and the Caucasus regions, This significant development, issued on April 1, 2024, follows a thorough audit and examination process by the AAK, highlighting FlyArystan’s adherence to aviation regulations and international operational standards.
Since its inception in 2019, FlyArystan has operated under the Air Astana AOC. However, obtaining its own AOC now allows FlyArystan to align its operations more effectively with its low-cost carrier model and explore additional growth opportunities. It’s important to note that FlyArystan remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Air Astana Group.
