RTX’s Pratt & Whitney to support F100 engines of Saudi Arabia’s F-15 jets

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX Group subsidiary, has won a $65.8 million maintenance contract from Saudi Arabia’s Middle East Propulsion Company (MEPC). The material management program is for F100 engines that are used by the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in its F-15 Eagles and for which MEPC serves as prime contractor on F100 engine sustainment services under the Saudi Ministry of Defense. The contract activities have started from January 2024 and extend till the second half of 2025. The above timeline underlines the commitment of Pratt & Whitney towards delivering sustained support and service excellence for the contract period.

“This contract marks a transition to a more proactive and comprehensive sustainment solution that offers the Royal Saudi Air Force end-to-end efficiencies and greater affordability,” said Josh Goodman, senior director of the F100 Program, Pratt & Whitney.“Pratt & Whitney will assume more responsibility for optimizing fleet readiness, allowing the customer to focus on critical missions,” he further added.
