Honeywell has been chosen by Lilium, the pioneer behind the world’s first all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) jet, to supply specialized propulsion unit position sensors known as “resolvers” for the Lilium Jet. These sensors, tailored specifically for the Lilium Jet, will be instrumental in accurately detecting the engine’s position, ensuring precise control during takeoff and landing.
The collaboration between Honeywell and Lilium underscores Honeywell’s expertise in both the aerospace and sensing industries, enabling them to comprehend the unique requirements of the Lilium Jet and develop custom solutions.
