Sheltair Aviation breaks ground for its FBO at Colorado’s KBJC
19 August 2019: Sheltair Aviation has broken the ground on their full-service FBO at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC), providing the region with a 21-acre state-of-the-art, $20 million dollar complex that consists of a new terminal, hangar and build-to-suit office space opportunities.

The construction of the new facility will be completed in 2020 and will mark Sheltair's first FBO presence west of the Mississippi and reflects the national strength of a company that, for over thirty years, has grown its reputation for service and safety at airports along the Eastern Seaboard.

Jefferson County Manager, Don Davis said, "Our local aviation community expressed a strong desire for an expansion of available aeronautical services and I believe Sheltair's arrival at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport will provide that expansion through high quality services. We are excited to welcome the Sheltair team to Jefferson County and know they will make RMMA the regional airport of choice."
