US Army invests in Q-53 Radars and capabilities:

6 August 2019: Lockheed Martin receives three contracts from the United States Army to produce additional Q-53 systems and outfit the radar with enhanced capabilities, including extended range and counter unmanned aerial system (CUAS) surveillance.

As the Army's most modern radar has a flexible architecture, it allows for these upgrades, which support adaptable growth of the system to address aircraft, drone and other threats in the future.
