6 August 2019:The Lufthansa Technik Group is trying to increase its commitment to training young people in Germany. 246 new trainees have joined the company for traditional and dual-study which is an increase of 55 per cent over the previous year.
For the Group's positive economic development and because of a lot of employees will soon reach retirement age, Lufthansa Technik has already decided to add 50 more training slots in 2020. Lufthansa Technik is a home to 616 young people on their way to professions in technical aircraft services, industrial engineering or aircraft logistics.
In 2019, 135 young people will begin with their training in Hamburg, 14 in Arnstadt, 78 in Frankfurt, 14 in Alzey and five in Munich. Applicants could choose between 16 different professions and dual-study programmes.
There are a total of 246 new training and university slots, out of which 186 are directly with Lufthansa Technik.
