Stevens Aerospace Completes First Integrated U.S. Army King Air C-12U G1000NXi Installation

Stevens Aerospace and Defense Systems, LLC (Stevens) has proudly announced the successful completion of the initial fully integrated installation of the U.S. Army King Air C-12U/B200C G1000NXi at their facility in Greenville, South Carolina. This prototype marks the first out of ten King Air C-12U G1000NXi installations assigned to Stevens. Interestingly, this particular installation also holds significance for Garmin, as it signifies their 750th G1000NXi installation.

The uniqueness of this installation lies in the integration of military equipment, including a third GPS (TA-24), a third transponder (APX-119), and a secure communications system (ARC-231). Stevens has a remarkable track record as one of Garmin’s leading G1000NXi installation centers and a top depot-level aircraft repair and modification center for the U.S. Government. In addition to the G1000NXi system, the aircraft will undergo a complete paint and interior refurbishment.
