ITA Airways has welcomed its inaugural Airbus A321neo, leased from Air Lease Corporation, marking another stride in the airline’s all-Airbus fleet strategy, which currently boasts 81 aircraft, including the latest-generation A220, A320neo, A330neo, and A350 planes. The newly acquired A321neo, designed for ITA Airways’ medium-haul routes, features a three-class configuration. The setup includes 12 Business Class full-flat beds with direct aisle access, 12 Premium Economy seats in a 4-abreast arrangement, and 141 Economy seats, with 12 dedicated to Comfort Economy.
Embracing Airbus’ Airspace cabin design, the A321neo incorporates innovative elements such as new XL overhead bins and customized interior lighting based on cutting-edge full-LED technologies, contributing to reducing jet lag. The passenger experience is further enhanced with individual screens and on-demand content through the latest generation in-flight entertainment systems in each seat.
