Eve Air Mobility, a company focusing on electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has announced three new suppliers for its eVTOL development. Eve’s eVTOL aircraft features a lift+cruise configuration with eight dedicated propellers for vertical flight and fixed wings for cruising, without altering the position of these components during flight. The aircraft includes an electric pusher powered by dual electric motors for propulsion redundancy, emphasizing performance and safety. This design offers advantages such as lower operational costs, optimized structures, and reduced sound.
Garmin will provide the avionics for Eve’s eVTOL aircraft. The G3000 Integrated Flight Deck features large, lightweight, high-resolution glass displays that seamlessly integrate with Eve’s vehicle management and flight control systems. This technology is tailored for eVTOL aircraft, offering an intuitive touchscreen interface and access to various avionics capabilities.
