Embraer and Azorra, a prominent aircraft lessor, are celebrating a significant milestone with the delivery of the first of nine new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft to Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA). The delivery was marked by a special ceremony attended by senior executives from Azorra, Scoot, and Embraer at Embraer’s facility in Brazil. This delivery, named ‘Explorer 3.0’ in honor of Scoot’s third and newest fleet addition, represents the first time a Singapore carrier is introducing an aircraft from the Brazilian manufacturer.
Scoot’s E2 services are scheduled to commence in May 2024, starting with Explorer 3.0’s inaugural flight to Krabi, Thailand. This marks an exciting phase for Scoot and underscores their commitment to offering passengers an enhanced travel experience while expanding their route network.
