Dassault Aviation has delivered Six Rafale fighter jets from the French Air and Space Force that arrived at the 91 operational base near Zagreb, Croatia. This follows Croatia’s acquisition of 12 Rafale aircraft in November 2021. The arrival of these jets marks a significant milestone for the Croatian Air Force – Hrvatsko ratno zrakoplovstvo i protuzračna obrana (HRZ i PZO) – with pilots trained in France to operate these advanced aircraft.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by high-level officials including President Zoran Milanović, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and Defense Minister Ivan Anušić. The arrival of these Rafale jets underscores Croatia’s commitment to strengthening its air defense capabilities.
