Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading airline, marked a significant milestone on April 17 with the arrival of its fourth aircraft delivery for 2024. The new addition is a new Airbus A320neo, underscoring the group’s commitment to sustainable aviation practices and operational resilience. An A320neo from Airbus arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila after a flight from Airbus’ facility in Tianjin, China.
SAF, being a drop-in fuel with characteristics similar to traditional jet fuels, will require no changes in aircraft or engines and has no adverse effect on performance. Its use reduces carbon emissions by up to 80 percent throughout its lifecycle, and its use is, in fact, one of the decarbonization measures taken by Cebu Pacific.
