StandardAero’s Center of Excellence at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), TX, is intensifying its support for the CFM International CFM56-7B turbofan engine, showcasing its commitment to quality maintenance and overhaul services. Recently, the center performed its first customer engine shop visit during the spring, signaling a significant milestone in its operations. The DFW-based CFM56-7B service center, inaugurated in 2023, has already inducted over a dozen engines for various workscopes and is now gearing up to offer comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services to operators globally.
The DFW-based service center currently provides an array of quick turn shop visit (QTSV) services, including borescope inspections, boroblend repairs, engine module changes, QEC/LRU removal/installation, as well as fan, top case, bottom case, hot section, and LPT repairs. Additionally, the facility boasts full test cell capabilities for the CFM56-7B powerplant at its advanced six-cell DFW test complex, enabling functional and performance engine testing for Boeing 737NG operators and other CFM56-7B asset owners.
