FAA Policy: Reentry Vehicles Launching as a Payload

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently issued a policy concerning the launch of reentry vehicles as payloads. The policy stipulates that the FAA will not authorize the launch of a reentry vehicle without appropriate authorization for its return to Earth. COMSTAC Meeting April 23, 2024
