Air Senegal gets Africa’s first Airbus A330neo
11 March, 2019:Airbus delivers Africa’s first new generation widebody aircraft A330neo to Air Senegal, the flag carrier of the Republic of Senegal.

The aircraft was produced in Toulouse with the latest engines, new wings with enhanced aerodynamics and a curved wingtip design. It is fitted with a three-class cabin which includes 32 Business class, 21 Premium Plus and 237 Economy class seats.

Air Senegal plans to introduce its first A330neo on its Dakar-Paris route and will further develop its medium and long-haul network.

The A330neo is the new generation widebody aircraft which is equipped with the latest Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines. The aircraft provides with a 25 per cent lower fuel burn per seat than previous generation competitors. It will also have Airspace by Airbus cabin which will offer passengers with more personal space.
