Airbus, Embry-Riddle sign MOU on aviation education in Singapore
13 March, 2019: AirBusiness Academy, an educational arm of Airbus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Singapore to work in partnership on delivering aviation education and management training programmes for students and talents in the region.

According to the agreement, the organisations will work together on areas like faculty exchanges, joint delivery of specific training programmes, and the hosting of each other’s courses at their respective campuses.

Courses such as aviation strategy, aircraft maintenance and engineering, finance and operations management, innovation and leadership development will be the main focus of the collaboration. These courses could take the form of short professional education courses, or complete curriculum leading to a degree.

Vice President of Customer Services, Asia-Pacific, Airbus, Bruno Bousquet said, “Airbus is pleased to collaborate with Embry-Riddle to support aviation education and training programmes in the Asia-Pacific region. This is the fastest-growing aviation market in the world, and this partnership could allow us to jointly meet the demand for highly-qualified professionals in the aerospace industry throughout the region.”
