Embraer delivers 500th Phenom 300 series business jet:
27 March, 2019: Embraer has delivered the 500th Phenom 300 series aircraft. It is the only business jet model to reach this milestone in the last 10 years, as per General Aviation Manufacturers Association reports.
Phenom 300 is certified by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale and the National Aeronautic Association.
The aircraft, Phenom 300 was launched in 2005 and entered service in December 2009 has sustained over half of the light jet market share since 2012. It operates in more than 30 countries and has accumulated more than 800,000 flight hours on over 600,000 flights over the past decade.
In the last five years, Phenom 300 fleet has doubled in size, growing at a rate of just over 18 per cent (CAGR) with its utilisation growth rate outpacing its fleet growth by 30 per cent. Among fractional ownership programmes, the Phenom 300 has the largest customer base and fleet size.
The Phenom 300E carries the “E” which stands for “Enhanced” and refers to its inheritance of the Embraer DNA Design, first introduced in its larger siblings, the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 medium cabin jets. The aircraft’ new interior design has made its cabin even more spacious and it also has more personalisation options.
