7 March, 2019: AerSale’s AerTrak ADS-B Out system on Boeing 757-200 series aircraft got an approval from European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC). ADS-B features:
1. Provides enhanced navigational accuracy using precise tracking via global positioning satellite (GPS) signals.
2. Increased navigational coverage in remote areas beyond radar range.
3. Reduced risk and improved safety
4. Enables more direct flight plans, thereby saving time and costs
5. Enhances situational awareness for Air Traffic Control of aircraft

The AerTrak kits can be installed by any AerSale’s technicians at any hangar around the world. The kit includes all necessary parts and takes about three days of ground time.
