AkzoNobel completes acquisition of Mapaero:
11 November 2019: Akzo Nobel has completed the acquisition of French aerospace coatings manufacturer Mapaero.
The company's global position in aerospace coatings will be strengthened because of this deal, notably in the structural and cabin coating sub-segments. As the world-class product ranges from both companies are now combined, AkzoNobel would be able to offer its customers with a much wider portfolio of innovative and sustainable solutions.
Mapaero specialises in sustainable water-based and advanced eco-friendly products. It operates a production facility in France and has around 140 employees.
