HAECO ITM and GA Telesis partner for post airframe teardown of Airbus A330-300:


10 December 2019:HAECO ITM and GA Telesis come together to sign a joint venture for the post airframe teardown of Airbus A330-300. HAECO ITM Ltd recently acquired Cathay Dragon Airbus A330-300 (MSN083) for disassembly.

The two companies have come together for the distribution and resale of the parts removed from the aircraft. The recertified components will then support HAECO ITM's inventory pool along with GA Telesis customer base worldwide.

HAECO ITM manages a fleet of over 290 aircraft from an inventory pool in Hongkong. With this JV, HAECO ITM will offer provision and pool management of aircraft components.

GA Telesis's known for its unique position worldwide to provide real-time support solutions to airline customers worldwide with over 35 sales offices and distribution centres on six continents.

Graham Air, HAECO ITM Head of Asset Management and Trading, said: "We are delighted to have secured this airframe for our present customer pool. HAECO ITM has had ample experience with this specific aircraft type, with multiple operators supported by our inventory pool. After disassembly and inventory harvest, the components will be recertified and either returned to our inventory pool or consigned to our partner, GA Telesis CSG, to support their global customers."
