5 March, 2019: BBA Aviation has appointed Wael Saeed as Chief Financial Officer for its Global Engine Services network. Since 2007, Saeed has been a member of the BBA Aviation team and has previously held the position of CFO at Signature TECHNICAir.
Saeed has held multiple positions in BBA Aviation companies, including CFO, VP Finance, VP Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Controller.
“Wael’s extensive financial planning and accounting experience paired with his background in aviation overseeing and transacting business both domestic and international positions him well to support the GES businesses,” said President and COO of Global Engine Services, Hugh McElroy. “We’re proud to welcome new members to our team and the talent we attract just proves that GES is a place people want to join to grow their careers and be a part of developing our business.”
Saeed is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds numerous collegiate degrees which include a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the CrummerGraduate School of Business at Rollins College.
