Boeing to pay $100M to families of crash victims:
4 July 2019: Boeing pledges to support families and communities affected by the tragic accidents of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 and Lion Air Flight 610 by paying them $100 million.
These funds will help living expenses for impacted families, education and community programmes. Boeing will collaborate with local governments and non-profit organisations to address these needs. This initial investment will be made over several years.
Employees of the company will also get the opportunity to give donations in support of the families and communities impacted by the accidents.
