StandardAero, Robertson Fuel Systems to deliver AS350 CRFT to LASD:
18 July 2019:StandardAero has obtained another order for AS350/EC130 crash-resistant fuel tank (CRFT) from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD). The CRFT was developed in collaboration with Robertson Fuel Systems.
The initial order is for one CRFT, as the LASD is upgrading their current fleet with modern safety improvements. The CRFT kit will be delivered to the LASD next month for field installation by their chosen provider, Hangar One Avionics.
