Thomas Wittmann becomes one of two CEOs of Lufthansa Systems:

3 July 2019: Thomas Wittmann will be taking over as one of two CEOs of Lufthansa Systems. He will be looking after all production and technology issues in the company and working closely with the IT organisation of the Lufthansa Group. He will lead the company with CEO Olivier Krueger, who has held his CEO position from 2015.

Wittmann started his career in the Lufthansa Group in 1995 at Lufthansa Systems after receiving a doctorate in physics.

He has worked for over 20 years in this aviation group where he has held several IT management positions in Commercial Solutions and Operations Solutions as well as in technical domains. He also worked as a project manager where he had to supervise a major IT transformation, including the implementation of a modern passenger service system.
