Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow continues to set up a team of professionals
4 July 2019: VoVolga-Dnepr Technics Moscow (VDTM) has completed the first recruitment course for young professionals. VDTM recruited nine trainees for the position of Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics/Airframe & Engines), according to the successfully passed test results.

A group of students and graduates from aviation technical universities were trained for six months at VDTM Aviation Training Centre to obtain both the theoretical knowledge of basic disciplines and practical course. The students get to deepen their knowledge on sophisticated topics like Fuel Tank Safety, Electrical Wiring System, Human Factor and Aviation Legislation, students can masters the aircraft maintenance as they have undergone initial aircraft type training.

In the training course the most important stage is an on-the-job traineeship under the guidance of experienced mentors, practicing experts from VDTM staff which made it possible for the trainees to fully delve into the working process, gain practical skills in aircraft maintenance, meet future colleagues, and feel part of large and cohesive VDTM team.

'Our fast-growing company gives top priority to adding to the VDTM personnel some employees with a high level of initial training. MRO market is highly specialized, each company having its own specifics and critical shortage of qualified personnel. Granting such training and closely cooperating with Russian aviation technical universities we have an opportunity to provide for the generation continuity and experience transfer to maintain high-quality standards of services available for our customers as well as to train employees by instilling our corporate culture and values in them. We aim to follow up the training programme for young specialists and we will be very happy to see them a part of our company', said Konstantin Surkov, CEO of Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow.

"I was attracted by the VDTM focus on HR development, the company is ready to take the risk and train young professionals, provide the practical knowledge and skills that are really needed in the future work. The most interesting for me were aircraft type training and the on-the-job traineeship. This provides the very basis for further development that you cannot obtained at the university," said Evgeny Kolodrubsky, a participant of the first recruitment, who was employed as Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics).
