CAE unveils new flight training location in Oslo, Norway:
10 July 2019: CAE is all set to expand its training capability in Europe with a new flight training location which is based in Oslo, Norway.
CAE will now be delivering pilot creation programs at CAE Oslo with this expansion. Currently the also have cadet training capability in Brussels, Belgium; Madrid, Spain and Oxford, UK.
This new pilot training location in Oslo will further permit CAE to meet the pilot creation needs of airlines and will provide aspiring pilots in the region a new Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) programme.
"This expansion of our global training network will support the impressive pilot demand of airlines and operators based in the region - we estimate that there will be a need for more than 90,000 new professional pilots in Europe, Middle East, and Africa over the next decade,'' said CAE's Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions, Nick Leontidis.
