Kobus Swart joins Metrojet as new Director of Flight Operations:
4 December 2019:Metrojet Limited has appointed Kobus Swart as Director of Flight Operations. Kobus will be responsible for all aspects of Metrojet's flight operations, including the management of flight and cabin crew, flight dispatch and training.
Kobus joins Metrojet with over 37 years of aviation experience in Flight Operations, Training and Quality & Safety. He has extensive knowledge operating in various global locations, coordinating and working with different regulatory authorities and registries. Previously, Kobus served as Chief Operating Officer and Director Operations at TAG Aviation Asia and Hongkong Jet where he was responsible for the overall conduct of worldwide daily operations. He started his career as a pilot in the South African Air Force flying jets and helicopters.
