ATR has announced the appointment of Alexis Vidal as their new Senior Vice President Commercial, effective from June 26, 2023. In this role, Vidal will join ATR’s Top Management team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Nathalie Tarnaud Laude. He will be succeeding Fabrice Vautier, who will be taking on new responsibilities within the group.
With an impressive background in sales, Vidal brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He has held various senior management roles within the aerospace and defense industry throughout his career. Vidal began his professional journey with the Airbus Group in 2004, where he served as the Business Development Manager within the satellite division, which is now known as Airbus Defence and Space. Later, he joined Airbus Helicopters in 2007, where he held multiple management positions in Customer Services, Offers and Contracts, and Sales. In 2016, Vidal was appointed as the Vice President of Sales for the Energy and Leasing segments. In 2019, he moved to Airbus Commercial Aircraft as the Head of Sales for Customer Services. His most recent position, in 2021, was the Head of Marketing for widebody programs.
