The G5000 makes the cockpit modern, solves parts obsolescence and addresses mandate requirements and also has less cost of operation.
Citation Excel and Citation XLS with the new G5000 integrated flight deck, features three landscape-oriented displays with split-screen capability, intuitive touchscreen controllers and geo-referenced Garmin SafeTaxi airport diagrams. Emergency descent mode is now available as a standard feature with the G5000 and is enabled by the autopilot when there is loss in aircraft pressurisation.
