Bombardier strengthens its business jet support capabilities in China:
15 April, 2019: Bombardier has made some important enhancements to its customer support capabilities for business aircraft customers in China on the eve of this year's Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE).
Bombardier's service centre in Tianjin has received authorised service centre status from engine manufacturers Rolls-Royce, Honeywell and GE. This authorisation shows the confidence these renowned companies have in the abilities of this facility's technicians. Bombardier's customers can now have the engines of their business jets serviced in China.
Bombardier has also started new line maintenance services at its Tianjin Service Centre. Services such as AOG mobile repair as well as unscheduled and scheduled maintenance services on various Challenger and Global aircraft registered with the following regulatory bodies: EASA, FAA, Canada, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Aruba, Isle of Man, Qatar, San Marino and Guernsey will be offered.
Tianjin service centre has received approvals from various aviation authorities since opening two years ago and can now provide a full scope of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services for Global, Challenger and Learjet aircraft registered in China, Hong Kong, Cayman Islands, Macau and Bermuda. Certification is in progress for further expanded capabilities under FAA and EASA.
"It's important for Bombardier to be close to our customers in the Greater China region so as to ensure they have access to excellent service," said Vice President and General Manager, Customer Experience, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Jean-Christophe Gallagher. "That's why we are committed to expanding our services in this market, where we see a bright future for our growing aircraft portfolio."
In April 2017, Tianjin service centre was inaugurated in association with the Tianjin Airport Economic Area (TAEA).
Enhancements to customer support capabilities in China are part of Bombardier's commitment to offering excellent service worldwide.
