30 April, 2019: AFI KLM E&M to provide maintenance of Gulf Air's APS5000 auxiliary power units (APU) equipping the airline's 10 new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The contract was signed in the presence of Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain at a ceremony organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) under the patronage of the MEDEF, France's main organisation of business owners.
The contract guarantees to cover APU replacement. The repair services will be done by AFI KLM E&M subsidiary EPCOR.
