Spairliners collaborate with Barfield to expand its EJET Support in the Americas:
15 April, 2019: Spairliners GmbH have entered into a long term agreement with Barfield, which is wholly owned by Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) in the Americas, to offer component repairs for Spairliners' Embraer E-Jet fleet.
The agreement includes in-house repair services of Line Replaceable Units, which is now performed by Spairliners' MRO shareholders AFI KLM E&M as well as Lufthansa Technik. Barfield will serve as the newest addition to Spairliners MRO portfolio and this will further solidify their capabilities and presence in the Americas.
Barfield provides competitive in-house capabilities and shorter repair turn-around-times for Spairliners as they are strategically located in the Americas. The components will be repaired and overhauled at their local repair facilities, specifically GA, Atlanta, Miami and FL.
