Miami International Airport COVID-19 travel update:
26 March 2020: Miami International Airport (MIA) has gone one step ahead in their fight to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Strict protocols are followed in compliance with Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
MIA is striving hard to ensure passengers, employees and the community remain safe. Since 17 March 2020, travel restrictions have been expanded to include UK and Republic of Ireland. A total of 20 routes served by the airlines at MIA are affected which include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Lisbon, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris (CDG), Paris (Orly), Rome, Stockholm, Warsaw and Zurich.
Every passenger from the above countries is supposed to answer a series of health questions and undergo random temperature checks before entering the passport control area.
