03 March 2020:In a recent announcement, Mr. Don Milum, a U.S. Army Veteran with an experience of over 25 years in the industry has been appointed as U.S. Senior Sales Manager of Universal Avionics (UA). The announcement was made by Robert Clare, Director of Business Aviation Aftermarket Sales.
"Don has demonstrated dedicated leadership skills during his tenure as UA Regional Sales Manager," said Robert Clare. "His extensive background in avionics will be a valuable asset to the UA Sales team as we commit to bringing a greater focus to the business aviation aftermarket," he added.
Don is based in Kansas City, Missouri U.S. and in his new role, will oversee the UA Sales team as well as the Authorized Dealer and Integrator Network in the US. Don joined the UA Sales team in 2019 as the Regional Sales Manager for Midwestern U.S.
Don has previously worked at Honeywell, Textron, and StandardAero. Don has served on many top Avionics Manufacturer's Advisory Boards, is the current Nominations Advisor for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Maintenance Committee, and has also served on the Board of Directors for the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA).
