Air Transat receives first Airbus A321LR:
8 May 2019:Air Transat has received its first Airbus A321LR aircraft. The A321LR is one of 15 aircraft that the carrier is scheduled to receive. Air Transat leases the A321LR from AerCap.
Air Transat will operate the A321LR for long-distance flights out of Canada, principally on more extended, thinner routes to European, Caribbean, Central and South American destinations. The A321LRs will replace older aircraft.
The Air Transat A321LR has 199 seats in two classes, consisting of 12 premium Club Class seats in an exclusive cabin with personalised service and ergonomic seating. Economy Class seats are wider, offer more personal space and have a state-of-the-art entertainment system.
