Elliott Aviation signs 50th Garmin G5000 installation

Elliott Aviation signs 50th Garmin G5000 installation:

15 May 2019: Elliott Aviation has signed their 50th Garmin G5000 retrofit. The 50th signed installation was for a 2000 model year Citation Excel.

Elliott Aviation has a Garmin ADS-B STC bridge programme that changes the existing transponders with Garmin GTX 3000 smart transponders. More than 150 Citation Excel/XLS and Beechjet 400A/XP's have completed the Garmin ADS-B bridge programme. This programme also offers a substantial financial incentive to buy the Garmin G5000 at a later date.

Elliott Aviation was the first company to install a Garmin G5000 retrofit. The company has now installed more than 30 Garmin G5000 systems in Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP aircraft. They have also installed over 350 Garmin G1000 systems in King Airs, more than all other dealers in the world, combined.

The Garmin G5000 retrofit programme for the Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP changes the complete avionics suite and includes a new Garmin autopilot system. The G5000 instrument panel has three 12" LCD displays that offer the pilot and copilot with new technologies like synthetic vision, XM weather, electronic charts, WAAS/LPV, ADS-B compliance, engine indication and MFD range rings.

"We have been Garmin's leading aviation retrofitter for many years," said Conrad Theisen, Director of Avionics Sales for Elliott Aviation. "Our long-standing partnership with Garmin has led the G5000 programme to be a huge success for Elliott Aviation."
