First Lion Air A330neo rolls-out of Airbus paint shop
7 May 2019:Lion Air Group's first A330neo has rolled out of the Airbus paint shop in Toulouse, France. It has the airline's unique livery. The aircraft will be operated on lease from BOC Aviation.

Lion Air Group will receive a total of 10 of A330neo aircraft, eight of which will be leased from BOC Aviation. The aircraft which will have a single-class layout for seating 440 passengers and it will be used by Lion Air on some domestic routes, as well as charter and pilgrimage service to Saudi Arabia. Also, some of the aircraft will be used by Thai Lion on long-haul services from Thailand.

Now, the first aircraft will continue its industrial process and will soon go on for ground and flight tests, before the delivery to the airline in a few weeks.
