Russian President Vladimir Putin inspects helicopters produced by KHP:
14 May 2019: Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) of the Russian Helicopters holding company presented Ansat, Mi-8MTV-5-1 and Mi-38T helicopters to Russian President Vladimir Putin during a working trip to Tatarstan.
Andrei Boginsky, Director General of the holding and Yuri Pustovgarov, Managing Director of KVZ PJSC, showed Vladimir Putin the first production model of the Mi-38T military transport helicopter.
"This helicopter was created on the basis of a new Mi-38 civilian vehicle and is equipped with additional equipment to solve transport-assault missions. This year we are transferring the first Mi-38T to the Ministry of Defense, as well as starting serial deliveries of the Mi-38 in the interests of civilian customers," said Director General of the holding "Helicopters of Russia" Andrei Boginsky.
The President of the Russian Federation was also presented with military transport helicopter Mi-8MTV-5-1, supplied to different power structures of the Russian Federation, as well as two light helicopters Ansat - with a medical module and in a corporate version with a VIP-cabin.
