31 May 2019: Reading Alloys has appointed Michael Wilkes as its new Product Manager, Powders. In this new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing growth of Reading Alloys' range of powders-based product range. This consists of high-purity titanium and titanium alloy powders, produced via a hydride-dehydride (HDH) process used for coatings in orthopedic medical devices, advanced electronics, traditional powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing. The products also have speciality powders and master alloys used for hard-facing, brazing and thermal sprays as well as advanced alloying applications.
Previously, Michael worked at Carpenter Technologies in Reading, where he was the Director of Global Customer Service.
