ATR receives EASA certificate to extend Type A maintenance visit intervals

26 February, 2019: Southern France based turboprop aircraft manufacturer ATR has received certification from EASA to extend the intervals between the Type A maintenance checks from 500 to 750 hours, for all of its aircraft series.

As the interval has been increased by 50 per cent, the customers of ATR will not have to spend as much on aircraft maintenance as they did before and there will be an increased aircraft availability of one additional day every 1,500 flight hours, generating additional revenue opportunities.

ATR has 1,200 aircraft worldwide and as part of their policy of placing the customer at the heart of their business, they provide 24/7 support to their operators via its brand new customer care centre based in Blagnac.
