Airbus delivers China Southern Airlines their first A350-900
28 June 2019:  China Southern Airlines has received its first of 20 A350-900 from Airbus and has become the newest operator of this latest generation and highly effective twin-engine, long-range widebody aircraft.

The airline which is based at Guangzhou operates an Airbus fleet of 335 aircraft, including 282 A320 Family aircraft, 48 A330 Family aircraft and 5 A380 aircraft.

China Southern's A350-900 aircraft has a modern three-class cabin layout of 314 seats with 28 business seats, 24 premium economy seats and 262 economy seats. Initially, the airline will operate the new aircraft on its domestic routes from Guangzhou to Shanghai and Beijing and later on to international destinations.
