Arjun Kumar given additional charge of DGCA, India:
1 June 2019: Arun Kumar has been given the additional charge of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India. He is the member of the highly esteemed Indian Administrative Services (IAS).
Currently, Kumar holds the position of an additional secretary at the aviation ministry and will continue to hold the position.
Kumar will hold his new position for three months, till the government decides on a full-time DG, which could also be him.
