Air Lease Corporation to order 100 Airbus aircraft:
17 June 2019: Air Lease Corporation has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for 100 Airbus aircraft, including for the first time 50 A220-300s and 27 A321XLRs. The agreement also consists of an incremental order for an additional 23 A321neos.
This new order takes ALC's total orders to 387 Airbus aircraft, making the company Airbus' third largest lessor customer.
